About Staying Scared & the Staying Scared podcast

,On June 28, 2025, hosted by a trio of one, the flesh of the Staying Scared video podcast will begin weekly lurks as creator Thomas Scopel allows his grim sides, Host Wee Willie Wicked and News Anchor Willard free reign while he crafts creepy for the Dark Arts segments. (Note: Some projects can be extensive assuring spanning multiple episodes.)

Pace and variety go hand in bony hand with fear and fun here at Staying Scared and usually the portrayal is either comedic or eerie and EVERYTHING can be considered scary when perceived through certain eyes. Immersive and atmospheric, the Staying Scared podcast may be a fan of mainstream horror; but it is not limited to such and prefers exploring both old and new, provided there is an eerie factor.

Independently produced, Staying Scared is a Willie, Willard and Thomas three headed niche having a clear focus on structured variety video content and is far beyond the traditional podcast. Of course, audio only versions will also be available alongside the episode catalog at Spotify. Also, be sure to find your way to the Staying Scared YouTube Channel since we tend to bury there too, especially the little bitsy pieces parts.

Getting back to that fleshy thingy or what you might see..while we’re certainly not going to give away our scares, we will say that more twisted fairy tales might be on the way or maybe a creepy crafting of a spider or doll.

We might teach an FX trick or create a Halloween decoration prop. We may review the latest fright flick or chilling show or finally show our first short horror film.

We could tinker on the Staying Scared Hearse or build a rather horrific dollhouse (because not all dollhouses are pristine and pure).

We may broadcast a scary news report or read a bedtime story or explore movie physics or learn about castles or even dissect a bat.

So go rest in your lairs or tombs creatures, ghouls and monsters…June 28th will be here before you know it….

Bahahahahahahahaha!

Thomas, 'er...Willie has been published online, in print periodicals and anthologies, has been Professor Willie Shivers of the Staying Scared show seen on The Monster Channel and has won countless Halloween costume contests over the years. A fan of Pittsburgh's Channel 11 Chiller Theater and host Bill Cardille since being a wee clown, he's quite fond of the classic Night of the Living Dead and has stood in Evans City Cemetery where George Romero had filmed.
